Here comes the sun...

Well, it seems that with all that happened when trying to get a job in Oregon was a red flag not to go there quite yet. It's funny how things work out. One moment, you're surrounded by a fog of comfusion and the next-clarity. I was so stressed out, I had no idea where God was leading me. Maybe the point of the stress was to just be still and know that God is God. Even though I can't see where I'm going through the fog- God does- and he never makes a mistake.
With that said, I came to the conclusion that I need to go to Africa. I know, sounds a bit extreme from Oregon. This has been somewhere where I've felt led to go to for a really really long time. There's a North American Baptist based hospital in Cameroon. I'll be seeing patients and possibly helping teach some courses on physical therapy for 12 weeks. I leave South Dakota August 20th for a friend's wedding in Boston and then depart from there. Which initially left an 8 week non-employment period before I was already going to be doing non-paid work over in Africa. Turns out that Canby needed another PT for an additional period of time this summer. It all worked out.... God is good.
