One of my favorite songs is 'Liquid' by Jars of Clay. When I'm confused about life and decisions and I feel a bit lost, I listen to this song. The words and music set my soul at peace. 'This is the one thing, the one thing that I know'. Even though life sometimes seems so confusing and lost- the one thing I know is that God is always there...and that's enough. My comfort of the known in this traveling life are so often changing, which is stressful and annoying and.....fun. I actually feel spoiled because I'm realizing that having the foundations of safety broken away reveals my utter dependence on God. It's easier to simply put it into His hands because he is all I constantly have.
I have officially agreed to work another 13 weeks in Canby. So, I will be here until July 3rd. They even found a house so Pippen can stay with me! Although my moving in has been delayed due to bats in the house!!!! Hopefully Pippen and I won't have any additional room mates.
I really love working in Canby, but I think I'll have an itchin' for the mountains by summer. I'm thinking west coast this time....
